Package: e16
Version: 1.0.0-3.1
Severity: important
After updating to squeeze, all the controls on windows through the iconfiy,
close, and maximize buttons on the top stopped working. Window shading by
double-clicking also stopped working.
During the initial run, e16 was running the brushed metal theme. Switching to
a different theme did not fix the problems.
However, eesh still functioned and allowed me to perform these actions. Trying
a different window manager, such as metacity, showed it was able to handle
these events correctly.
Running xev, I didn't notice anything unusual or different between twm, e16,
and metacity.
The middle and right-click menus also did not appear when clicking on the
desktop.
Nuking ~/.e16 from within an xterm and restarting also made the left-click
menus stop functioning.
Doing a:
dpkg --purge e16 e16-data ; apt-get install e16 e16-data
Made E work again.
