Not really. One problem with evince is that its UI is designed for GNOME only: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=745854 (libgtk3-nocsd0 is a workaround, but that's suboptimal and the use of LD_PRELOAD conflicts with some commands). Then, about Motif vs Qt, I don't know.
