regexxer fails to cross build from source, because it configures for the build architecture. It actually configures twice. Once for the build architecture during ./autogen.sh and then correctly through dh_auto_configure. Skipping the first configuration makes cross building work as well as speeding up the build. Please consider applying the attached patch. Helmut
