Please don't do that. This is a common misconception. This is the paragraph you refer: "Please keep the issue open until the package can be built in a follow-up test rebuild." and the meaning is: Please close the bug only when the issue is solved (usually in unstable), at which point an *hypothetical* test rebuild would not flag the package as failing anymore. This is about reproducibility of the fix in a scientific sense (i.e. when the package is fixed, everybody should be able to check that it's fixed). Matthias does not make follow-up test rebuilds "to see if the issue is fixed", and will not tell anybody "this is now fixed, you can close the bug now". (And that's completely ok, he already has enough work to do). It is still the maintainer's responsibility to verify that the issue is solved, closing the bug when it is. Usually, you would do that by using the Closes keyword in the changelog, as always. Cc: Matthias. Could you please reword the problematic paragraph for your next mass bug filing? Believe it or not, this is at least the third time that I see a misunderstanding about it. Thanks.
