I'm happy to take over maintenance, but would also welcome whatever help people might wish to extend, patches or co-maintainers or just fly by night fix git push and upload. I go ahead and transfer my repo from bap/ to debian/ with all my tweaks right after sending this. If they're deemed a bad idea, we can force push over them. Anyway, I've packaged 1.7.0. It failed (JSON encoding issues) with the tagged upstream release, albeit just a popup error. So I merged the post-1.7.0 upstream commits. Same issue. --Barak.
