Package: btrfs-assistant Version: 2.1.1-1 Severity: important Dear Maintainer, In its current state in stable, btrfs-assistant creates conflicts with xdg services, causing Flatpaks to be unable to open due to a permissions error. Flatpaks work correctly on the system until btrfs-assistant is opened, upon which they suffer the following error: "bwrap: Can't find source path /run/user/1001/doc/by-app/". Rather than give the full details here, here's the upstream bug report: https://gitlab.com/btrfs-assistant/btrfs-assistant/-/issues/105 This bug has already been fixed upstream in version 2.2, which is current in testing and sid; I can confirm after building the packages for stable that the version current in testing and sid allows Flatpaks to function agian. This is the upstream pull request that fixed the issue: https://gitlab.com/btrfs-assistant/btrfs-assistant/-/merge_requests/85 The change seems to be only a few lines, so I'd think it would be possible to simply patch version 2.1.1 and eliminate this bug in stable without causing too much commotion. Alternatively, it might be time for a backports version of the package. -- System Information: Debian Release: 13.3 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable-security'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 6.12.69+deb13-amd64 (SMP w/12 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages btrfs-assistant depends on: ii libbtrfsutil1t64 6.14-1 ii libc6 2.41-12+deb13u1 ii libgcc-s1 14.2.0-19 ii libqt6core6t64 6.8.2+dfsg-9+deb13u1 ii libqt6gui6 6.8.2+dfsg-9+deb13u1 ii libqt6widgets6 6.8.2+dfsg-9+deb13u1 ii libstdc++6 14.2.0-19 ii pkexec 126-2 Versions of packages btrfs-assistant recommends: ii btrfsmaintenance 0.5.2-1 ii snapper 0.10.6-1.2 btrfs-assistant suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
