I consider it to be a significant bug. If I run lynx, I don't expect it to create a .mosaic directory. If I use emacs, I don't expect it to read .exrc. Not having looked at the source, I don't know if the fix is as simple as changing one occurrence of `netscape' to `mozilla', although I would hope it was. I guess for consistency, *anything* that refers to netscape the program (as opposed to the company) ought to be changed to refer to mozilla also. That might make changing harder. However, I leave it to your discretion how you decide to classify it. At the end of the day, the "bug" doesn't affect me since I have still found no reason to switch from netscape-3.01 (and I'd probably still be using 2.02 if the bookmark stuff in it had worked properly). > Personally, I think all applications that require X should be under > /usr/bin/X11, but from earlier discussions it looks like that's a minority > viewpoint. Thus, I've not invested time to put mozilla there. If these discussions are archived somewhere I'd be interested in a pointer. Seems a silly idea to me to require a /usr/bin/X11 and then not use it. -jonathan
