I've adopted djtools, and think I've fixed the bug wherein djscript would segfault when reaching a ^L. Could you test the new packages at http://gemini.woot.net/~hosehead/packages/djtools (not aptable) and tell me if that fixes the problem? (It does for me, but I'm not sure it's strictly correct and the solution may be hardware-dependent.)
