Hi. This bug seems really easy to fix, just replace emacs20 with emacs21 in the Build-Depends, it seems to work as intended.
The package needs some work though: - debian/help2man should be replaced by a build-depends on help2man - I don't know the emacs policy well enough but shouldn't the .elc be generated during install and not during build? - old cruft: usr/doc link in postinst, does not support DEB_BUILD_OPTS, ... Since the last upload was 2002 and this is your only package excuse the question: Are you still active and maintaining this package?
