The script data/cronjobs/newmaint-update reads from that webpage to create the file nmstatus.new, and that file is input for data/nm/nm-txt2db to create nmstatus-new.db, which is renamed to nmstatus.db by data/cronjobs/newmaint-update. The db file nmstatus.db is used by the DDPO (developer.wml, developer.php).
