Hello Debian QA team,

My name is Regina, and I’m an Outreachy applicant for the December 2025 cohort.
I’m contributing to the “Debian Images Testing with OpenQA” project. I hope I
understood correctly that this is how we send our contributions besides the
final application, please let me know if I should do otherwise.

I chose the Debian 12 XFCE live image for testing. Below is my outline of how I
would functionally test it, along with my initial results.

**Functional Test Plan**
1. Verify that the image boots successfully to the XFCE desktop.
2. Confirm mouse, keyboard, and display input respond correctly.
3. Open key applications (File Manager, Settings, Web Browser) and verify they
start and close normally.
4. Test network connectivity by opening a web page.
5. Launch the Installer and confirm it opens correctly (without proceeding with
installation).
6. Observe general responsiveness and stability during use.

**Results from running the test**
The Debian 12 XFCE live image booted successfully in VirtualBox on Windows 11.
Mouse and keyboard input worked, and all tested applications opened without
issues. The network connected properly, and the Debian website loaded. The
installer started and closed as expected. The desktop was stable and responsive
throughout testing.

Best,
Regina Haley
