Package: sddm Version: 0.21.0+git20250502.4fe234b-2 Using sssd for AD integration sddm doesn't work for accounts managed in the network. The user cannot login. You have to ajust pam config, which surely is no newbies stuff, and multiply this by the number of laptops you are responsible for. Its way easier to just ditch sddm in favor of gdm3.
