Hi! It seems to me that a possible reason for breeze-cursor-theme not being listed in `update-alternatives` is that it, contrary to other cursor theme packages, is containing no `cursor.theme` under `/usr/share/icons`:
$ apt-file list breeze-cursor-theme | grep -F cursor.theme <no output> $ apt-file search /cursor.theme adwaita-icon-theme: /usr/share/icons/Adwaita/cursor.theme bibata-cursor-theme: /usr/share/icons/Bibata-Modern-Amber/cursor.theme [...] BTW, I'm also running trixie (breeze-cursor-theme version 4:6.3.5-1), and upon upgrade from bookworm, my `x-cursor-theme` alternative was broken, pointing the `/etc/alternatives/x-cursor-theme` symlink at a no-longer existing file, namely `/etc/X11/cursors/breeze_cursors.theme`.
