Package: konqueror-nsplugins Severity: important
-- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: x86_64 Kernel: Linux 2.6.30-1-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: lang=de...@euro, lc_ctype=de...@euro (charmap=ISO-8859-15) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Dear maintainers, I discovered, that the process "nspluginviewer", which is initiated by konqueror is still running, when konqueror was ended. IMO this process should be ended, too, when konqueror is ended. The main problem is, that the still running process "nspluginviewer" is consuming a lot of cpu power (almost 10-15 percent), which causes two new things: 1. the cpu will not cool down (so on notebooks the cooler is always running) 2. inhibits to slow down cpu clock on mobile cpus. It would be nice, if you could have an eye on this problem. Thank you very much! Regards Hans-J.
