Hmm. The ConsoleKit problem seems to be related to this bug: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=537361
I think the main problem is actually this bug: (described in Ubuntu) http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1309580
I included the NoAccel option for the openchrome driver and I can now login. Sorry to have filed this under the wrong package. I guess it should be under xserver-xorg-video-openchrome.
