Whenever I click to a link in KDE (for example an external link in a pdf in oKular), an "infinite" number of instances of Konqueror start opening the link requested. After all these konqueror windows keep opening, the system can't handle them and freezes. This happens since after I removed the package google-chrome-stable. While removing it, aptitude showed the following: update-alternatives: using /usr/bin/konqueror to provide /usr/bin/x-www-browser (x-www-browser) in auto mode. update-alternatives: using /usr/bin/iceweasel to provide /usr/bin/gnome-www-browser (gnome-www-browser) in auto mode. This information might be useful to identify the source of the bug. Also, the issue can be fixed in different ways: -reinstalling google-chrome-stable; -changing the default web browser in KDE.
