Mmh, interesting, I have seen a similar behavior in my desktop (unstable with kde-sc 4.12.4) but with kscreenlocker_g, which is closer to the bug reported in the upstream bug tracker: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=316348 but I can't reproduce it in my notebook (jessie with kde-sc 4.12.3).
