I went looking through the code and that appears to be partially intentional. A comment in the code makes me think they only are trying to cause the auto- raise behavior when the contact list is open? By any chance do you have the contact list open? Does the behavior change if you have it closed? But I'll need to talk to upstream about it. I'll try to get back to you soon as well. Diane
