hi! thanks very much for your help.

the krita segfault still happens with all latest updates, including the
most recent kernel 5.9.0-5-amd64

krita crashes at open. when i select the krita program from the menu
nothing happens at all.
when i run like this:
$ krita
Segmentation fault

that's what happens....

i'm using lxqt

i'm using xorg as far as i know. haven't installed wayland deliberately
