ARRRRRRRGGGH! (no offense to submitter) This bug, like ALL the other bugs people have filed on Alpha topics, is fixed in 2.2.10 boot-floppies.
dark, *please* install the new Alpha boot-floppies already, damn it! I don't CARE if dinstall rejected them because the debian/rules file in boot-floppies is broken! I CANNOT upload new ones from where I am right now. These bugs keep coming in.
