This is a list of second stage packages that have important fixes in connection with the debian-installer, that have not yet made their way to testing:
- pcmcia-cs 3.2.5-2.3
sarge version is ancient and broken
- lilo 1:22.5.8-14
fixes a usability issue caused by inflated priority
(assuming the override file is also updated with the new
priority)
- passwd 1:4.0.3-21
fixes security problem (root password not md5 crypted by default)
fixes user name prompt bug
