Hello, Afaict the NMU to make perl autobuildable was successful and I think it should be pushed into testing (perhaps not immediately, but I'd rather note it now than forget it).
Problem: The perl as shipped in the 5.8.4-2 source-package will not build on arm, ia64 and hppa. Build report for 5.8.4-2.2: * autobuilt on: alpha, hppa, ia64, m68k, mips, powerpc, s390, sparc * manually built (for the initial upload) on i386 and arm. * The mipsel autobuild failed with a number of test-failures, perhaps caused by a broken /etc/services, a manual build with pbuilder worked flawlessly. I am 98% confident that the mipsel autobuild failure was caused by buildd breakage, there were no changes in the source-package affecting mips. (e.g. I cannot have broken building with -rsudo, as mips is using sudo, too and did not have any problems.) Interdiff in http://bugs.debian.org/270410 but I guess you'll run interdiff yourself anyway. ;-) cu andreas -- "See, I told you they'd listen to Reason," [SPOILER] Svfurlr fnlf, fuhggvat qbja gur juveyvat tha.
