Please unblock package python-xopen
The request to unblock python-xopen seems to avoid freeze policy since
it is a new package. The reason is that python-cutadapt in former
versions contained the code (basically a single file xopen.py) and it
was split out in version 1.12 of python-cutadapt which was uploaded
short before freeze date and obviously not sufficiently tested by its
uploader.
In bug #858053 it is explained that python-xopen will be needed to fix
the bug. I have fixed and tested python-cutadapt in version 1.12-2 and
will create a separate bug report for this package containing a debdiff.
Please consider unblocking python-xopen.
