Hi Julien, This was originally an NMU after discussion and approval to do it as one with Jeremy Bicha and others in #debian-gnome on IRC. It would have gone into unstable and moved forward but did not get a sponsor. At this point 3.24 went into unstable and Jeremy advised to now make it a stretch-pu, Which it now is. This has been built and tested all versions of debian. I have been running it on (and built with) stretch since the fix became available. Note: I am the original upstream bug reporter and intimate with this bug and Milan Cha of Red Hat was the dev who helped in reproduction, debug and was the dev who committed the fix.
