Hi, I'd like to start a small transition for exempi which bumped its soname from 3 → 8 in 2.5.0 The reason for the soname bump is that upstream dropped a lot of private symbols in the 2.5.0 release and was overly cautious not breaking any 3rd party packages. I think we could have gotten away without a soname bump but I also don't see a reason to revert this particular upstream decision. I rebuilt all rdeps and unsurprisingly they all build just fine. The auto tracker at https://release.debian.org/transitions/html/auto-exempi.html looks fine. Please let me know when I can upload 2.5.0-1 to unstable.
