I can test the fix and git-annex on my Debian machine too: it's ARM, Kirkwood, armv5tel. There, currently, git-annex fails as described in #5.
I am suffering this bug a lot, as reported here: http://git-annex.branchable.com/bugs/Linux_standalone_on_armv5tel__58___error__58_____34__git-annex_died_of_signal_4__34__/ I do hope the bug will be fixed before releasing buster. Thanks a lot for your work, Emanuele
