On behalf of the GNUstep team I would like to request a transition
slot for a pantomime transition.
Note that src:pantomime1.2 (providing libpantomime1.2 and
libpantomime1.2-dev) was renamed back to src:pantomime (providing
libpantomime1.3 and now the versionless -dev package libpantomime-dev).
The previous transition was in 2006, before the binNMU era, so we are
now bringing the package to the current library packaging practice.
The new library version is available in experimental; both reverse
dependencies (gnumail and lusernet.app) build successfully with it.
However, gnumail will be severely broken by the new format of the IMAP
cache so I'd really prefer to make a sourceful upload of a new
upstream version addressing this problem. lusernet.app is not
affected and can be binNMUed.
I couldn't find an automatic tracker at release.d.o; most probably it
was not created because the source package has been renamed.
Ben file:
title = "pantomime";
is_affected = .depends ~ "libpantomime1.2" | .depends ~ "libpantomime1.3";
is_good = .depends ~ "libpantomime1.3";
is_bad = .depends ~ "libpantomime1.2";

This seems to be complete; at least, pantomime 1.3 is in stable. Closing.
Thanks,
