For the Debian GIS team I'd like to transition to GDAL 3.5.0.

Most reverse dependencies rebuilt successfully with GDAL 3.5.0 from
experimental as summarized below.

mysql-workbench (8.0.26+dfsg-1) FTBFS due to gcc-11 (#998833).

vtk6 (6.3.0+dfsg2-8.1) FTBFS due to gcc-11 (#984398).

qgis (3.22.5+dfsg-1) FTBFS due to sip6 (#1009939) and not supporting
Multi-Arch paths for gdal which is fixed in git.

Transition: gdal

 libgdal30 (3.4.3+dfsg-1) -> libgdal31 (3.5.0~rc2+dfsg-1~exp1)

Please go ahead

Thanks. gdal (3.5.0+dfsg-1) has been uploaded to unstable and is built and installed on all release architectures.

libgdal-grass (1:1.0.0-1) has also been uploaded to unstable.

Thanks for the binNMUs.

qgis can bin rebuilt now that grass is built and installed on all release architectures.

Please also binNMU gazebo and postgis in experimental.

With the testing migration of paraview the old gdal packages finally were removed from testing.

gazebo still needs to be rebuilt in experimental but it has open FTBFS bugreports, postgis had a new upload in the mean time.

Kind Regards,

Bas
