Hi,
I'd like to introduce a new source package into stable:
src:nvidia-graphics-drivers-tesla-470 (upstream EoL planned 07/2024)
as a successor to
src:nvidia-graphics-drivers-tesla-460 (upstream EoL planned 01/2022)
src:nvidia-graphics-drivers-tesla-450 (upstream EoL planned 07/2023)
470 supports a superset of the GPUs supported by the 450 and 460 series,
but came a bit too late to be included into bullseye from the beginning.
The atached patch is against nvidia-graphics-drivers-tesla-460/stable and
therefore very similar to the one in #1005129 (for upgrading
src:nvidia-graphics-drivers from 460.* to 470.*) and most of the
comments there apply here as well.
This update will require to introduce src:nvidia-settings-tesla-470 into
stable, too.
And it will require an update of src:nvidia-modprobe to 470+ as well.
