I'm ok with the changes in principle, but I have two questions: 1. since the affected code is inlined by dependents, have you done rebuilds of them against the new package and how much functional testing is possible? 2. what is your view on the effort of rebuilds vs. benefit at this late stage of bullseye's lifetime?
