Quack, I am not on the list and just found your reply now.
I followed the link you referred too on the wiki and I think I got confused by the steps in "Speeding up transitions" that says "Include a sample "ben" file in your transition mail." with a link to an email that does not refer to any bug report. It's from 2012 and that worked differently at the time I guess, I don't even remember.
