Dear Release Managers,

I would like to request a transition slot for onnxruntime,
which has its SOVERSION bumped from 1.19.2 to 1.20.1.

Since new onnxruntime requires newer xnnpack than in sid,
this transition should be started after #1094440 is finished
(at least after new xnnpack is uploaded to sid).

The auto-onnxruntime transition has a needless "python3-onnxruntime”
package (but certainly works). A precise Ben file would be:

title = “onnxruntime 1.20.1";
is_affected = .depends ~ /\blibonnxruntime(1\.20\.1|1\.19\.2)\b/;
is_good = .depends ~ /\b(libonnxruntime1\.20\.1)\b/;
is_bad = .depends ~ /\b(libonnxruntime1\.19\.2)\b/;

onnxruntime failed to build on arm64. Please take a look:

That is #1094828. And it reproduces on both gcc-14/15.
We are trying to find some workaround, if not fixes.

I just realized my reply is wrong, #1094828 is pytorch-related.
We have, anyway, now fixed arm64 FTBFS in 1.20.1+dfsg-1~exp3.

I have confirmed that gst-plugins-bad1.0, the only build-rdep
of onnxruntime against 1.20.1, builds against this new version.

Go ahead.

This was done. Let's close the bug.

Emilio
