In #1100987, the CVE-2024-13903 has been reported for QuickJS. Backporting the changes is cumbersome. We would like to avoid maintaining this for the next two years and hence would ask to unblock quickjs. The rationale is also given in #1104748 , Tl;Dr: we decrease the maintenance overhead for us. Please also unblock edbrowse 3.8.12-1 to resolve #1104835. The changes also have been reviewed by Samuel Thibault. Thanks unblock quickjs/2025.04.26-1
