Dear release team, Starting with the lastest glibc upload (2.42-6), GCC 15 is used to build glibc, in order to match the current default compiler. On arm64, this enabled GCS [1] in the libc binaries. In turns this causes some linker warnings during autopkgtest causing them to fail, e.g. [2]: 49s /usr/lib/gcc/aarch64-linux-gnu/15/../../../aarch64-linux-gnu/libjose.so: warning: GCS is required by -z gcs, but this shared library lacks the necessary property note. The dynamic loader might not enable GCS or refuse to load the program unless all the shared library dependencies have the GCS marking. 49s /usr/lib/gcc/aarch64-linux-gnu/15/../../../aarch64-linux-gnu/libjansson.so: warning: GCS is required by -z gcs, but this shared library lacks the necessary property note.
