Hi,

a simple new liborcus version.

Needed by LibreOffice 26.2 which as usual
only supports 0.21 whereas 25.8 only supports 0.20.x (can be patched patching
the pkg-config call
and adapting for the API/behavioural change in 0.21.x).

That one will be released 2026-02-05.

The API/behavioural change actually only affects LibreOffice and its XML import
but as there is no
unversioned .pc (which I agree on) labplot needs to adapt anyway...
I'd like to upload this with the above LibreOffice release on Thursday
(2026-02-05).

reverse-deps:

- libreoffice: see above

If you wanted to untangle that I could probably add a patch for the behavioural
change in a 25.8.4-2
(see
-
https://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/core/commit/?id=cd347097f726eae68fa819fe244d0bedf13832e9
 (last hunk together with
  external/liborcus/orcus-xml-finalize.patch.1)
and
-
https://cgit.freedesktop.org/libreoffice/core/diff/configure.ac?id=d48fddcd2014c1366766b3785f8b533f8cb545c7
  (which removes that external/liborcus/orcus-xml-finalize.patch.1 above since
it's inside 0.21.x)
) but honestly I would want to avoid that, that's why I waited until now that
the last RC of 26.2.0 was uploaded to experimental :-)
OTOH, it will remove the wrong libreoffice autpkgtest "failure" in experimental
(because it doesn't install liborcu
from experimental.)

- labplot: can be bin-NMUed

Ben file:

title = "liborcus";
is_affected = .depends ~ "liborcus-0.20-0" | .depends ~ "liborcus-0.21-0";
is_good = .depends ~ "liborcus-0.21-0";
is_bad = .depends ~ "liborcus-0.20-0";

should suffice (there's also depends on -parser and -spreadsheet-model,
but anything which depends on those also depends on the "main" lib
anyway.)

Regards,

Rene
