Source package uglifyjs is dead upstream
(or more accurately that v2.x _branch_ is dead upstream,
the v3.x branch is actively maintained and packaged as src:uglify-js).

Please drop src:uglifyjs as intended by release-critical bug#958117.

Why didn't you file a bug against src:uglifyjs for that? I don't think you need to involve the release team.

I would prefer that the package is not
removed from unstable yet.

This bug has nothing to do with removal from the archive. Please follow up in bug 1127304.
