Because glibc is currently stuck in unstable, any package depending on it is very unlikely to migrate to testing soon. As for seeing it in a stable release, you'll probably have to wait for the lenny release if you want this to happen. I'm appalled to learn that one of the most active developers, who maintains 56 packages and sponsors 220, doesn't seem to have even a basic understanding of how testing and stable releases are managed. -- .''`. : :' : We are debian.org.
