Not sure if I understand you here. BTW, the reason why I find it important, is that today I tried to force aptitude to upgrade to gcc 4.3.0-4 in my sid box; since libffi4 depends on gcc-4.3-base (= 4.3.0-3) , then aptitude offered to remove libffi4 and all of its tree of dependencies, that encompasses ~ 600Mb of software , including openoffice and +/- all of gnome, . So I had to give up. a. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFIHxGp9B/tjjP8QKQRAhjFAJwJIRUkgpzT9W+lcUXyf/+Mi1cFEwCgmUBz SD8RHD4o/D1hBJobt5Z1Rj4= =dowH -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
