Hi, Bug #492699 is an RC bug against fakeroot, not affecting its functionality (FHS violation). This is an important package and it is affected by the freeze already. According to the maintainer, fixing the violation will require extensive refactoring, too intrusive to perform at that point. Under the circumstances, I think the most reasonable solution is to add a release exception for this bug. Any opinions or suggestions would be appreciated.
