I have been told that m68k is not a release architecture and that I've been waiting for gnustep-gui to build on m68k in vain... :/
Anyways, please allow gnustep-gui to migrate from t-p-u to lenny. This release fixes bug# 496677. The bug log is a bit confusing, because there are a few issues mentioned (eventually split into several bugs).
