Hi Mark,

thank you for looking into the bug I filed.

I suspect that your report might be a duplicate of #496269 which has just been fixed by the upload of version 0.2.5-1.1 by Clint Adams.

Can you confirm that 0.2.5-1.1 fixes your bug and your report is in fact a duplicate that can also be closed.

While it certainly is not a duplicate of #496269 as the bug report tries to explain with embarrassing verbosity, it is entirely possible that Clint's NMU contains patches that fix #502725 as well. The obvious, correct way of verifying this is take a broken gvfs-fuse-daemon and a -1.1 gvfsd and see if the instructions to reproduce the bug and illustrate that it is not #496269 do not allow the same conclusion in this partially upgraded setup, i.e. have gvfs-fuse-daemon turn belly up but verify that gvfsd keeps working e.g. when accessed via gvfs-ls.

That said, do proceed as you see fit. If merging the bug with #496269 seems like the best choice to you, that is fine with me even if I do not entirely understand how you arrive at that conclusion.

Best of luck

T.
