Hi Levsen. I've upgraded this bug to 'serious' as you suggested (before I didn't thought that it 'renders package completely unusable' but on the afterthought I agree now - very few users will actually edit /usr/bin/ file manually rather than just simply upgrading or installing from upstream).
So is there anything can be done now about helping jabber-irc enter testing?
