Dear release team! It's been almost 6 weeks now since my initial request without any reply besides "please wait". I assume this just got lost/forgotten, but I really need to have an answer whether I can upload or not. Open MPI is not listed in the "Unstarted transition" section on [1], so I guess you did not consider it yet. The version I uploaded to experimental fixes the worst bugs, works great and even fixes a silent data corruption bug that effects quite a lot of users. The latest series of rebuilds I did did not show any FTBFS errors or other breakage. So I do not really see why scheduling rebuilds should be a problem.
If I do not get an answer until next Wednesday, I just assume it is OK to upload and will do so. But I'd really prefer to avoid this "break unstable, then binNMU" solution. I also do not want to put pressure on you; I know you have a hard job and appreciate your work! But uncertainty about the status quo is quite hard to deal with and I'd like to give asking users a "real" answer at least. Thanks in advance!
