Could you review this patch for the release notes. I plan to document this in the section "2.2. System improvements" http://www.debian.org/releases/stable/i386/release-notes/ch-whats-new.en.html#system-changes Also, I'm not sure about the above versions. I used 5.0 and 5.0.1 in the patch.
