Hi,

I initially planned to track the ruby1.9 -> ruby1.9.1 transition. But I
give up. I think that ruby1.9 should be removed from testing now,
together with the following list of packages (which are all the reverse
build-deps or depends of ruby1.9):

Debian Ruby Extras Maintainers
<[email protected]>
   libgruff-ruby (U)
   libi18n-ruby (U)
   libnet-scp-ruby (U)
   libnet-sftp2-ruby (U)
   libnet-ssh-gateway-ruby (U)
   libnet-ssh2-ruby (U)
   libnokogiri-ruby (U)
   libprawn-ruby (U)
   libwww-mechanize-ruby (U)

Sebastien Delafond <[email protected]>
   libdifflcs-ruby

Christopher Lunsford <[email protected]>
   libnet-scp-ruby
   libnet-sftp2-ruby
   libnet-ssh-gateway-ruby
   libnet-ssh2-ruby

Bryan McLellan <[email protected]>
   erubis
   libabstract-ruby
   libstomp-ruby

Ryan Niebur <[email protected]>
   libprawn-ruby (U)
   libwww-mechanize-ruby

Ryan Niebur <[email protected]>
   libnokogiri-ruby

Athena Capital Research <[email protected]>
   libi18n-ruby

Roberto C. Sanchez <[email protected]>
   libi18n-ruby (U)

TANIGUCHI Takaki <[email protected]>
   libmecab-ruby

Paul van Tilburg <[email protected]>
   libgruff-ruby (U)

Gunnar Wolf <[email protected]>
   libgruff-ruby
   libnet-scp-ruby (U)
   libprawn-ruby
   libwww-mechanize-ruby (U)

NIIBE Yutaka <[email protected]>
   htree

It is clear that we are not able to maintain so many ruby libs with the
current packaging system, but it is too late to fix that for squeeze,
and the fact that maintainers do not test their changes properly doesn't
help.
