hello -release, cacti 0.8.7g-1 has been in unstable for ~20 days with no ill effects reported. this is largely an upstream "maintenance release" incorporating various bug/security fixes present in the previous releases. a list of changes can be found on the upstream release notes:

from both a user and stable/security support perspective it would be
nice to have this version in the next stable release as opposed to the
0.8.7e release (0.8.7f was a foobar'd release, in case you're wondering
about the skipped version).
cacti has only one reverse dependency (cacti-spine, same author, no
plans to update this for squeeze) which should not be affected by the
version change.
