Dear All,

Recently the "FTBFS with binutils-gold" bugs have been raised to serious. These
bugs are are related to the fact that --no-add-needed is the default behaviour
of
binutils-gold while linking. During the end of 2009 most of the bugs were filed
to
the DBTS. But doesn't the default behaviour of binutils now also include
--no-add-needed?

If this is the case, then these "FTBFS with binutils-gold" can be closed when
the
package builds without FTBFS on the buildd system, right?

Regards,

Mark-Willem Jansen
