I would like to remove python2.6 for the wheezy release
Since python2.6 was the default python interpreter in Squeeze, shouldn't
we keep it in Wheezy and remove it from Wheezy+1? (as we did with python2.5)
in the past, this wasn't a criteria. Regarding the number of sumported python
versions, ftp-master didn't want to have more than two. Now, squeeze did
release with 2.5 and 2.6. 3.1 was just the core interpreter and a handful of
packages. With wheezy we do have 2.7 and a more complete 3.2, so I don't think
having 2.6 has additional value.
If your argument is to defend the status quo, fine. But I didn't see a new
argument why to keep it.
