That was done in 2.6.0-2 by the new maintainer (Anton Gladky). That version had been in unstable a while before the freeze, but had the RC issue stated above blocking it from going into testing. Anyway, we were trying to get 2.6.0-3 in before the freeze, and ended up uploading a couple hours late. That's not really great excuse, but we would like to ask for an exception (since we're still in the early more malleable part of the freeze).
