I'm assuming that netfilter guy wrote a suitable/working patch. But
anyway, while not looking too much into it, it might just be gcc needing
a bug report, and this patch a “workaround” label instead of just “fix”.

(Hello quilt refresh on 0503-extension_cppflags.patch too. ;p)
